Finding Your Own Path
Hi, I'm Yasmeen, an
ADHD and Executive Functioning Coach, educator, and advocate for neurodivergent individuals. My journey, both personal and professional, has shaped my passion for helping others navigate their own unique paths.
No journey is ever a straight line, and mine has been no exception.
Like many of my clients, I spent years focusing on what I struggled with, constantly feeling like I had to "fix" myself. One of the most significant shifts for me was moving away from this mindset and learning to recognise and celebrate my strengths. That simple (but powerful) change allowed me to approach challenges with a sense of possibility instead of failure before I even began.
That doesn’t mean I have everything figured out. Life is dynamic, and we are always learning and growing. I still have moments of overwhelm, still get stuck in cycles of procrastination, and still have days where executive functioning feels like a challenge. But I now have tools and strategies that help me navigate these moments with greater self-compassion - and that’s exactly what I help my clients discover for themselves.
Why Luminous Minds Coaching?
Luminous Minds Coaching was born out of my passion for helping neurodivergent individuals embrace their unique ways of thinking and build confidence in their abilities. With a background in psychology, education, and ADHD coaching, I provide a safe space where clients can explore their challenges without judgment and develop strategies that align with their values and strengths.
I work with clients internationally, supporting teenagers, adults, and parents as they navigate key life transitions, whether it's moving from school to university, stepping into the workforce, or adjusting to new environments across the world. I also offer workshops on executive functioning, self-advocacy, and transitions, designed to empower teens, parents, young adults, and educators with practical skills and strategies.
Coaching is not about “fixing” weaknesses, it’s about illuminating strengths and developing tools that support you in navigating life on your terms.
My Approach
I approach coaching through an ADHD lens, informed by my own lived experience as well as my professional training and background. My coaching isn’t about following a one-size-fits-all approach but co-creating strategies that work for you. I believe in collaboration, non-judgment, and the power of learning what makes each of us unique so we can harness our strengths effectively.
